My Humps

MY HUMPS

Don't worry we are not going to talk about my bottom, but I do want to talk about junk in the trunk, but not that kind. I'm talking about the humps we face in life everyday. The junk that we carry around with us that weighs us down and keeps us from really living or experiencing a life that God wants us to live.

We all face roadblocks, detours, and stuff in our lives that blocks our paths and sometimes we've got to go around it, overtop of it, or through it, but we can't let them cause us to give up or give in.

It doesn't matter whether it's divorce, loss of job, an illness, problems in relationships, or problems at work, no matter the issue, dilema, or obstacle, we've got to stay the course and not give up!

God didn't create me and you so that we'd be perfect and our lives would be free from problems or worries. Life is imperfect and has sin and because of that our lives sometimes have complications whether by our doing or someone else's.

The point is no matter the junk that you are carrying around, you don't have to carry it around, you can give it to God. Always, Anytime, Anyplace! God doesn't expect you to carry the load alone and He doesn't want you to give up on yourself, life, or Him.

I'm a realist, life stinks sometimes, alot of times it's because of our own choices or decisions, but no matter whether it's us or just life, God is still God, He still loves us, accepts us, forgives us, comforts us, or whatever we need, but we've got to learn to trust Him, seek Him, turn to Him, and have Faith in Him, why not take a step today?

When we begin to do that, we'll have less junk and less humps!

"It is for freedom that Christ set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burderened again by a yoke of slavery."
Galatians 5:1 (NIV)
